I left it on for a couple days after writing on it–and it STILL wipes off.

    • Hi Sharon! What a great way to communicate with your mother-in-law! Please share with us how it has worked out for you all to converse together! Glad you stopped by and were able to gain a useful idea to use with your family! :)
  2. The year is almost over, but I will include this idea for next year, and use the it as a center where my kinder garners can copy words at first and later write sentences... Great idea, thank sooooo much.
    • Hi Alexandra, I'm so glad you will be able to use this in your classroom. It makes me happy to picture your students having fun copying their words on such a fun surface. I'd love for you to write me when you use the idea. Include a photo--if you would like and let me know how it went. Then I will update the post with your info. (The photo does not have to include the children's faces if that is an issue--just hands enjoying the project.) Thank you for stopping by!
  3. I'm kind of sad they are not cheep plates. That might have been fun to have in the classroom!;)
    • Since I originally made this post, I noticed the price went up and they are harder to find. A similar product may work just as well but it would be sort of a trial and error to find out.
  4. Love it! Perfect for quick in class assessing or games. I use blocks of laminator film that gets cut off and wasted, or run sheets of lined paper through the laminator.
  5. Best idea ever! Kids will love writing on plates. Thanks!
    • Hi Rachel! I was so thrilled when I tried them and saw how well they worked! They are cheap too--I LOVE that! LOL
  6. Thanks for sharing! This could come in very handy, even with my high school classes!!
    • Aren't these great? So many uses! Glad you can use them in your high school classes. Whatever works, right? :)
  7. OMG! That is so clever! I'm definitely putting plastic plates on my shopping list.
