We use a white board to converse with my deaf mother-in-law-------this will be fun as more than one can join in chatting with her!! She will get a kick out of it!!!!! She is 100 Yrs. Young!
Hi Sharon! What a great way to communicate with your mother-in-law! Please share with us how it has worked out for you all to converse together! Glad you stopped by and were able to gain a useful idea to use with your family! :)
The year is almost over, but I will include this idea for next year, and use the it as a center where my kinder garners can copy words at first and later write sentences... Great idea, thank sooooo much.
Hi Alexandra,
I'm so glad you will be able to use this in your classroom. It makes me happy to picture your students having fun copying their words on such a fun surface. I'd love for you to write me when you use the idea. Include a photo--if you would like and let me know how it went. Then I will update the post with your info. (The photo does not have to include the children's faces if that is an issue--just hands enjoying the project.) Thank you for stopping by!
Since I originally made this post, I noticed the price went up and they are harder to find. A similar product may work just as well but it would be sort of a trial and error to find out.
Love it! Perfect for quick in class assessing or games. I use blocks of laminator film that gets cut off and wasted, or run sheets of lined paper through the laminator.
